Tobacco
- See Through the Vape– A great resource about vaping for both parents and youth. To get help starting a conversation with your child about vaping, read the conversation guide for facts and tips. Resources available in English and Spanish.
- My Life My Quit– A free and confidential way to help teens quit vaping or smoking. Specific My Life My Quit resources for educators can also be found here.
Alcohol
- Parents Empowered– Utah’s underage drinking prevention media and community education campaign. Visit their resources page for free downloadable content (e.g. Chit Chat Cards, Brochures, Handouts, Teaching Tools, Bookmarks). Resources available in English and Spanish.
Cannabis
- Gray Matters– Utah’s underage marijuana prevention and educational campaign. Visit their website to learn tips and skills to start the conversation with your kids about underage marijuana use. Take the pledge today to talk to your kids about underage marijuana use and how it can impact their brain!
Prescription Drugs
- Know Your Script– Talk to your kids about prescription safety; resources for parents, patients, and the community. You can print resources for starting conversations, household reminders, and cleaning reminders.
- Naloxone Resources- Naloxone is a life-saving medication used to revive people who have overdosed on opioids, such as pain medications or heroin. Download the handout below for more information.
Mental Health
- Behavioral Health Services– Intermountain Healthcare’s pediatric behavioral health services are expanding along the Wasatch Front. See handout below for details.
- Veterans Crisis Line– 24/7, confidential crisis support for Veterans and their loved ones.
- Stabilization & Mobile Response– Trained professionals can provide free resources, support, and services if you’re struggling to know whether your child’s thoughts or behaviors are normal for their age or something more serious.
Other
- Free Parenting Classes– Our community offers a variety of free parenting classes, available both online and in-person!

- Communities That Care (CTC)- Local community coalitions support youth in cities throughout Utah County. Reach out to your local CTC today!
